Britt Dienes, DOM

 

Dr. Britt Dienes, Acupuncture Physician, is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine 

certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).  

 

She graduated in 2014 from East West College of Natural Medicine with a  Master of  Science in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences. She specializes in orthopedics, stress reduction and mindfulness, and cosmetic dermatology with an emphasis on herbal treatment. She holds certifications in cosmetic and rejuvenation acupuncture, facial cupping and facial massage.  She also has a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Literature from USF.

 

Britt is an ERYT200 with Yoga Alliance with a focus in yin yoga and loves teaching Yoga Anatomy and TCM theory to aspiring yoga teachers. She has studied yoga in India and regularly works with inspiring teachers like Fred Busch, Kathryn Budig, Paulie Zink and Joe Barnett. She is also an Amazon published writer and former adjunct professor of writing at Ringling College of Art and Design.

 

 

 

 

 

Jonathan Wald, AP

 

Dr. Jonathan D. Wald, Acupuncture Physician (AP), is a Diplomate of Acupuncture certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).  

 

After graduating in 2001 from Bastyr University with a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Certification in Chinese Herbal Medicine, he completed two doctoral level residency training programs in Seoul, S. Korea in physical medicine, rehabilitation and fertility. He studied 5 Element Worsley- Style acupuncture at the Wu Hsing Tao School and interned in Veterinary acupuncture with Dr. Richard Panzer in Seattle, Washington. He also holds Certifications in Healing with Whole Foods and Acupuncture Point Injection.

 

Dr. Wald served as a board director for the American Association of Oriental Medicine and after co-founding the Institute of New Medicine in Seattle, WA he relocated to Sarasota, FL and worked for 4 years as Assistant Dean and 3 years as Academic Dean at the East West College of Natural Medicine. He's currently a doctoral candidate Pacific College of Oriental Medicine.

 

He specializes in pain management and physical rehabilitation, sports medicine, autoimmune disorders, complementary cancer care and infertility. An extensive lecturer and well-known educator in the field of Oriental Medicine, Dr. Wald combines a commitment to patient care with an eclectic and broad knowledge of acupuncture, herbs, and nutrition.
